God bless the Internet

I love learning new things and although I would like to take a curse or workshop I don't really have the time nor someone I trust to "baby sit" my son.. that is why I am so grateful for the Internet! you can learn anything here!
I thought it was about time for a new patchwork lesson. I picked one magazine that my mother sent me. It is German and I don't read German... but I liked this wall-patchwork on the left page:

I've got some help from this instructive video that I came cross in one patchwork forum.

I think I did very wel for the first time curved patchwork.

to be continued...

Thank you, Annie.
I learned lately to search directly in youtube! People really film everything:-)))

The internet is a wondrous thing but sometimes it provides too much information and I get confused.

I totally agree! There is so much to be learnt over the internet and people are so generous with tutorials. I have also gotten into the habit of checking Youtube when trying something new.

Hi Ayala love what you are doing with your textiles at the moment ...thanks for your comment re my friends house ...we think they were teenagers? lots of cars in the street had their petrol siphoned & thats what they used to light the fire they also set fire to two cars a few streets away about ten minutes later....still a lot of the awful bushfires in Victoria were lit deliberatly so much loss of life who knows what goes through their heads....

Hi Ayala,
I love your patchwork results. I also see you've listed your felted keychains in your etsy shop. Do you love your needle felting machine?

and it the meantime I am felting and felting.. already made 3 more keychains:-))
I like the machine very much and still don't know all its limits but just love the texture it makes with fabric and wool together!

Hi Ayala...congratulate you for your arts...my question is ...do you intend to commercialise it in some way...
I know a shop called POUR OU CONTRE here in my place which sells handmade arts ...i can talk them about you or at least show your site to them...who knows if this can help you. Of course i ignore if this is really interesting you
Yours faithfully

Hi Ides,
Thank you very much.
I think every artist think (fantasize) about someone selling or showing his work.. I am flattered that you think I might be already at that point:-]
From the name of the place I understand it is in france but I don't speak france. you could show them my blog or my shop: http://ayalalevinger.etsy.com
